2022 Rocky Mountain Synod Gathering in Heber

We had a great weekend in Heber in July. Women from Colorado, Nebraska, Utah and Wyoming gathered from Friday to Sunday at the Best Western. True with all Gatherings, it was a great time of fellowship, inspiration and learning.

Our speakers:

• Kathy Reeves, the moderator of Presbyterian Women churchwide graced us with her visit. She gave us the big picture of PW in service around the world & the practical picture of how PW functioning.
• Dr. Carol Bechtel, author of PW Bible Study, "Celebrating Sabbath" spoke about the study and in another talk about "Mrs. Job". Amazing teaching! We all want to take a class from her.
• We were blessed and inspired by Michael Maguire (Mt. Olympus Presbyterian Church) who spoke to use about Solitude and our faith walk.
• Bethany Jones (also from Mt. O) works for the International Rescue Committee, a worldwide humanitarian organization. In Utah, IRC focuses on hosting refugees.  Thanks Bethany for stastics & stories & ways we can help! (Many women put together backpacks for school kids.)
